Prenatal lactation consultations are educational sessions designed to help prepare you for parenthood. During these consultations, your Latched® IBCLC prenatal expert guides you through essential information and practical tips to help you feel confident and ready for the arrival of your baby.
From discussing birthing options to providing insights into newborn care, prenatal visits equip you with knowledge and resources to navigate parenthood’s early stages. These sessions are an opportunity for you to ask questions, address any concerns, and start your journey to parenthood with a comprehensive understanding of what to expect.

Latched® Classes
The Baby Care Class through Latched® is a 2.5- hour hands-on program guided by an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Registered Nurse. It's designed to give you the confidence and skills to care for your newborn from day one.
What's Included:
• Hospital & Initial Recovery: What to expect immediately after birth• Feeding Essentials: Feeding your newborn, recognizing feeding cues, and effective burping techniques.
•Daily Baby Care: Diaper changes, tracking the stages of newborn stool, and proper genitalia hygiene.
• Hygiene & Grooming: Caring for the umbilical cord, bath time at home, and quick clothing changes.
• Comfort & Soothing: Master swaddling and essential newborn soothing techniques.

The CPR & Choking Class through Latched® gives you the essential, lifesaving skills to respond quickly and calmly if an infant or child stops breathing or begins to choke. Perfect for parents, grandparents, and babysitters, this class focuses on hands-on practice so you leave feeling prepared for the unexpected.

The Starting Solids with Latched® Class is a 1.5-hour comprehensive, evidence-based masterclass designed specifically for parents of babies aged 4 to 6 months. Led by Eden, an IBCLC and pediatric nutrition educator with a degree in Advanced Nutritional Sciences, this class bridges the gap between lactation, development, and pediatric nutrition. You’ll leave feeling confident, prepared, and excited to embark on this next chapter with your baby.

Postnatal Lactation Cosultation
A postnatal lactation consultation is designed specifically for after your baby is born to help you overcome breastfeeding challenges and truly find your rhythm. Whether you are navigating your very first latch on Day 1, managing supply shifts weeks later, or adjusting to a growing toddler, we are here for you—no matter how old your baby is. Together, we will create a personalized, stress-free plan to make your feeding journey peaceful, empowering, and confident.
